GIS and EIMA are both among the international, leading events for respectively the lifting and agricultural sector.

GIS is the only Italian event that is dedicated to the users of the port and industrial handling equipment and heavy transport in its entirety. Users of

cranes, mobile cranes, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, forklift trucks, and overhead traveling cranes, are all but welcome here. It is taking place in Piacenza Expo fair center in Piacenza, Italy, from 7th to 9th of October, 2021.

To put GIS into numbers, it has 41000 square meters of exhibition space, with 428 direct exhibitors and 11400 qualified visitors. During GIS, a full program of technical seminars and conferences is presented. Some of the exhibitions are organised with the support of the main Italian industry associations and the most important national and international companies. Participants will be updated on the latest technological and regulatory developments in the sector.

EIMA International is the International Exposition of Machinery for Agriculture and Gardening. This biennial event was created in 1969 by FederUnacoma, the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, and organized by the federation’s service division, FederUnacoma Surl, in collaboration with BolognaFiere.

This year marks the unique date of the EIMA. Due to the pandemic emergency, the organizers had to revise the dates of the exhibitions. This year, the event will take place from 19th to 23rd of October, 2021. In 2022, EIMA will return to its traditional November appointment.

EIMA is one of the most important international fairs focused on machines for agriculture and gardening. Held since 1969 by FederUnacoma, this exhibition (similarly to GIS) takes place every two years. As usual, the event will be held at the exhibition center in Bologna.
